我校哈萨克斯坦留学生美琳参加由教育部国际司主办、教育部留学服务中心承办的2021年第五届“我与的美丽邂逅”来华留学生征文暨短视频大赛获“优秀作品奖”荣誉称号。
本次大赛是我国来华留学生领域最高级别的学生竞赛之一，围绕中外友好主题，全世界来华留学生通过短视频、歌曲、绘画、摄影、散文等形式，讲述自己或身边人经历的中外友好故事、来华留学逸闻趣事。一带一路组织全体来华留学生积极参与，最终来自哈萨克斯坦留学生美琳同学以题为《我的中国情缘》的精彩视频获奖。视频表达了在疫情防控下，留学生无法返校对中国的思念和对学校的热爱之情。
此项赛事中取得优异成绩，为我校其他来华留学生树立了积极的榜样,同时也反映了我校来华留学教育事业在学校的高度重视下稳步推进，实现了我校来华留学生教育质量水平的显著提升，体现了我校国际教育的特色之处和优异的教学成果。

The 5th "My Beautiful Encounter with China" Essay and Video Competition for International Students in China in 2021 closed with successful achievements. This event was organized by the Department of International Affairs of the Ministry of Education and hosted by the Service Center for Overseas Studies of the Ministry of Education. The international student from Kazakhstan, Ms. Meilin, was awarded the "Outstanding Work Award“.
The competition is one of the highest-level student competitions in the field of international students in China. Focusing on the theme of China-foreign friendship, international students from all over the world told stories of Sino-foreign friendship and interesting stories of studying in China through short videos, songs, paintings, photographs and essays. The Belt and Road International School organized the active participation of all international students from China. The video entitled "My Love Affair with China" by Meilin, a student from Kazakhstan, won the prize. The video expresses how the international students miss China and love the school as they are unable to return to school due to the COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control.
The outstanding achievement in this event has set a positive example for other international students in China. It also reflects that the education of international students in Guilin Tourism University has been steadily promoted under the high attention of the university. The quality level of education for international students in our university has been significantly improved. It reflects the distinctive features of our international education and the excellent teaching results of BRIS.
